Hackersley Estate Wine Club – June 2025 Dispatch

Our team has just wrapped up a busy and exciting week here at Hackersley Estate, carefully packing and dispatching our latest June 2025 Wine Club orders. Each box contains a handpicked selection of red and white wines that truly reflect the quality, craftsmanship, and diversity of our vineyard here in the Ferguson Valley.

Our June dozen includes a beautiful mix of varietals, curated with the change of season and our members’ tastes in mind:

Rosé 2024

A standout this season – a pretty salmon pink wine layered with delicate aromas of cherry blossom, pomegranate, and strawberries. The palate is creamy and textured, showcasing red plums, glazed cherries, and a mineral finish with a grapefruit pith edge. It’s both refreshing and elegant, perfect for lighter winter dishes or a sunset aperitif.

Shiraz 2022

This vintage is dense and opulent, bursting with blueberry, vanilla, and black plums. A powerful red that flows seamlessly through the palate to a long, fine finish. One for fireside evenings and hearty meals.

Cabernet Merlot 2022

A lush, fruit-forward blend of blackberry, chocolate, and plum. With generous spice and lashings of French oak, this wine is both approachable and complex – a firm favourite among our cellar door visitors.

Cabernet Sauvignon 2022

Bright and lifted with bay leaf, blackcurrant and spice on the nose, this Cabernet boasts a flavoursome palate of blackberry and beautifully integrated French oak tannins. A structured wine with classic cool-climate character.

Tempranillo 2022

Estate-grown fruit brings out bold blueberry and spice, backed by raspberry and dark plum. Earthy complexity and long tannin round out this warm, Spanish-style red with Hackersley charm.

Mondeuse 2022

A softer, early-drinking style – perfumed, juicy and brimming with fresh berries. Bright, fresh fruit character makes this a lovely red for those who enjoy something a little lighter and livelier.

Lightly Oaked Semillon 2022

Harvested and barrel-matured on-site, this Semillon balances citrus and floral aromatics with a creamy palate of nectarine and lime zest. A subtle oak touch adds complexity while keeping the finish clean and crisp.

Late Harvest Semillon 2023

A decadent dessert-style wine made from fruit left on the vine to achieve full ripeness. Rich, golden and age-worthy – this is a beautifully structured wine that is perfect with a Hackersley cheese platter or dessert.
